Step 6: Make a proposal

In a Letter of Intent, your agent will assist you in drafting your rental offer and terms to the landlord. To show your interest in renting the home, you must submit a holding deposit (equal to a month’s rent)

Step 7: Finalizing and negotiating the lease

Your agent will assist you with the subsequent tenancy terms negotiations with the landlord or the landlord’s agents. They will assist you with lease signing, coordination of payment of the remainder deposit/advance rental payments, and legal stamping of paperwork after they have been completed.

Step 8: Getting ready to move in

Your agent will help you set up tenancy service contract (if any), advise you on the application of various services (utilities, telephone, internet, etc.), and organize a final date for property take-over with the landlord and/or landlord’s representatives.

Step 9: Take a seat

Inventory lists and property condition reports will be generated and documented during the takeover of the property from the landlord, which will be overseen by your agent. Typically, a 30-day faulty warranty is provided.
